AVOID! I rarely write reviews but as my nails grow out I feel compelled to share my experience. A couple months ago I went to this salon to have my gel nails removed and was left with paper thin, bleeding, damaged nails. The employee seemed to be in a rush and used an electric file to remove the gel nails from start to finish. I have done gel extensions off and on for years and usually when you have them removed the salon files a bit of the top and then soaks off the rest. The whole point of using gel instead of acrylic is to not damage your natural nails! Anyway back to my experience at this salon, the employee insisted on using the electric file the entire time despite me saying my natural nails were burning , (I now realize they were burning because she filed them down nearly to the skin!) and they did not care in the least what state my nails were in. In the pictures I attached you can see half of my nails are now grown out and healthy and the other half towards the top is what is left from how they absolutely destroyed my natural nails. It’s been a long journey growing them out and living with nails filed down practically to skin is not easy. Every day since the removal at this salon, my nails have been ripping, bleeding and painful. I truly cannot express how paper thin they are. If they want to be lazy and remove with a file, at least watch out to not remove a million layers of the natural nail!

Wow, what an amazing experience! Kim is truly a fantastic nail artist—I can't sing her praises enough. From acrylic to gel polish and a special design, she nailed it all in just an hour and 30 minutes. Fast yet super detailed! They don't chat much with clients, but honestly, I love having that 'me time' to listen to podcasts or music. Plus, who cares if coworkers chat? It's all about the great nails and incredible prices here!

I do not recommend this nail salon at all. There’s not communication from part of the technicians speaking their own language but not with the customers. The place does not look clean and there’s no ventilation so you constantly smell the strong products that they work with. I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted. She said she cannot do it because she doesn’t know how to. So then I said no problem and switched for something simple. She did not hear me at all and she did what she wanted. She kept looking at the time and the whole time she was on a rush. She had to call someone else to come and help her. I ended up with a girl that she stopped doing pedicure to finish my nails because she just wanted to leave. The prices are not cheap, the salon and the service was horrible. I will definitely will not be going back. First picture is what I asked. Second picture is what I got.

I had the best experience at Ongles MTL as they were able to do the exact design that I requested for my mani and pedi! They are very professional and my nails turned out beautiful for my upcoming photoshoot. Would highly recommend, and should book in advance as they always have a lot of customers. I've been going every few months now since last year and I just love the way the staff responds and works with clients. The girls are calm, soft spoken, kind, polite and welcoming. This is a huge plus for me as I'm tired of going into nail salons and not get greeted or feel stressed out by being rushed. So Ongles MTL is a nice gem for that reason! Also, I've always been satisfied with my nails, Kim is very attentive to detail, and makes sure she gets angles and all spots under and around the nail. No extra skin left, nails finished looking thin just like natural (powder,shellac) and the color job is on point. I got matte nude today and i am absolutely in love🥰 . Thank you Kim and girls, I'll continue to come back!
